Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. finely minced onions
  • 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes

Method

  • Brown ground beef in frypan;
  • drain grease.
  • Place into crock-pot.
  • Add onions, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, parsley flakes and
  • mushrooms.
  • Stir
  • thoroughly
  • with fork until well blended.
  • Add
  • tomato
  • sauce,
  • tomato
  • puree, tomato paste and tomatoes;
  • blend together thoroughly and cover.
  • Cook on (low) setting 12 to
  • 15 hours.
  • Cook on (high) setting 4 to 7 hours, stirring occasionally.
