Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa poweder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Method

  • Butter the bottom and half way up the sides of the slow cooker ceramic bowl.
  • In a large bowl mix all the ingredients.
  • Add to buttered cooker pot.
  • Turn cooker on low, cover and cook for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Turn cooker off and let set untouched for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Serve up this gooey lava style cake with some ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
