Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground or chuck beef
- small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 can chicken gumbo soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. catsup or barbecue sauce
- hamburger buns
Method
- Brown beef, green pepper and onion in heavy skillet.
- Drain off fat.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over warm hamburger buns.
