Ingredients

  • 1 None bread slice
  • 400 g beef steak mince
  • 1 None medium egg
  • 100 g carrots, peeled and finely grated
  • Pinch None paprika
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil
  • 1 None romaine lettuce, trimmed and sliced
  • 2 None radishes, thinly sliced
  • 2 None tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp hot mustard
  • 1/2 None cucumber, sliced
  • None None Ketchup and mayonnaise, to serve

Method

  • Combine soaked bread, ground beef, egg, carrots and paprika. Season then form into 4 patties.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Cook patties for 7-9 mins, turning.
  • Meanwhile, layer remaining ingredients on bread rolls. Mix together any leftover vegetables for a salad. Top each roll with a burger. Serve with condiments.
