Ingredients

  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar chunky peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk in a large electric skillet.
  • Set control to 280°.
  • Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • At the end of 5 minutes, turn off switch and add marshmallows and peanut butter, then vanilla and stir until well blended.
  • Beat well and pour into pan greased with butter.
  • Set aside to cool.
  • Cut in 1-inch pieces.
  • Makes approximately 1 1/2 pounds.
