Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Frozen Hashbrown Potatoes
  • 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 2 whole Egg Yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce, Warmed
  • Fresh Chopped Basil Or Parsley, For Garnish

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Liberally grease a 12-inch cast iron skillet with oil or cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add hash brown potatoes, flour, egg yolks, salt and black pepper; stir well.
  • Transfer to prepared skillet and use a spatula to pat the mixture down.
  • Place in the oven and bake 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheeses, and return to oven.
  • Bake 810 minutes more.
  • Warm marinara sauce in microwave for 12 minutes.
  • Using two spatulas, loosen hash brown pizza from skillet and slide onto a cutting board.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped basil or parsley.
  • Cut into wedges, plate, and serve.
