Ingredients
- 2 to 3 peeled, sliced raw potatoes
- 1/2 c. each: chopped green pepper and chopped onion
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice (brown or white)
- 2 to 3 sliced raw carrots
- 1 lb. lean hamburger (crumble over the whole thing)
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce plus 1 sauce can water
Method
- In a large rectangular buttered baking dish, layer all the ingredients in the order listed.
- Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
- Serves 4 to 6.
