Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp smoky paprika
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp oregano, crushed

Method

  • Yields one cup and can be stored on a shelf for at least a month or so.
  • I use this rub on ribs, homemade beef jerky and on beef for my chili.
  • If you want more heat, then add extra cayenne pepper.
  • I took out the salt which did not contribute any flavor to this rub.
