- 2 tbsp smoky paprika
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp celery salt
- 1 tsp oregano, crushed
Method
- Yields one cup and can be stored on a shelf for at least a month or so.
- I use this rub on ribs, homemade beef jerky and on beef for my chili.
- If you want more heat, then add extra cayenne pepper.
- I took out the salt which did not contribute any flavor to this rub.
