Ingredients

  • 3 c. cooked chicken or turkey strips (1 x 1/2-inch)
  • 1 1/2 c. blanched fresh pea pods
  • 1 c. thin, diagonally sliced carrots
  • 1/2 c. green onion with tops, cut diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2/3 c. picante sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 c. shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
  • 1 can (3 oz.) chow mein noodles

Method

  • Combine chicken, pea pods, carrots and green onion in large bowl.
  • Combine picante sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar; mix well.
  • Toss with chicken mixture; chill.
