Ingredients

  • 5 cups dried bread (15-20 slices. I usually lay the slices out on my oven racks overnight with the oven door slightly aj)
  • 4 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 14 teaspoon sage
  • 13 cup melted butter
  • 1 12 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup hot chicken broth (or water)

Method

  • Cube dried bread.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except hot broth.
  • Only add enough hot broth to moisten stuffing.
  • Stuff turkey and roast as you normally would, making sure to follow cooking times for a stuffed bird.
