Ingredients
- 5 cups dried bread (15-20 slices. I usually lay the slices out on my oven racks overnight with the oven door slightly aj)
- 4 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 14 teaspoon sage
- 13 cup melted butter
- 1 12 cups chopped celery
- 1 cup hot chicken broth (or water)
Method
- Cube dried bread.
- Add all remaining ingredients except hot broth.
- Only add enough hot broth to moisten stuffing.
- Stuff turkey and roast as you normally would, making sure to follow cooking times for a stuffed bird.
