Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, unbaked
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 14 cup light corn syrup
  • 14 cup dark corn syrup
  • 14 cup melted butter or 14 cup margarine
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Method

  • Heat overn to 375.
  • Beat eggs slightly.
  • Add sugar, corn syrups, melted utter and mix thoroughly.
  • Place pean halves in unbaked pie shell and pour pie mixture over them.
  • Cook 35 to 40 minutes, until center if sirm and top is browned.
  • Cool before cutting.
  • Note: Oma uses ready made pie shells or frozen, either will work.
  • Also can change pecans for walnuts.
