Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
  • 1 pkg. (5 oz.) tiny shrimp, thawed and well-drained
  • 1/4 c. chopped green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. cocktail sauce

Method

  • Drain three or more cans of sliced water chestnuts.
  • Cut bacon long enough to wrap around chestnuts.
  • Wrap bacon around chestnuts and fasten with a toothpick.
  • Bake at 400° until bacon is done.
  • Drain grease.
  • Make sauce of equal amounts of white sugar and catsup (one cup of each).
  • Heat until sugar is melted.
  • Pour over chestnuts.
