Ingredients

  • 3 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 rib celery
  • 1 cucumber (medium)
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 lb. cooked shrimp

Method

  • Combine soup and cheese and cook on simmer until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
  • Pour this mixture while hot over gelatine which has been dissolved in cold water.
  • Add mayonnaise.
  • Grind together celery, cucumber, green pepper and onion.
  • Add to mixture with shrimp.
  • Pour into mold and let chill.
  • Serves 8 to 10.
