- 3 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 rib celery
- 1 cucumber (medium)
- 1 green pepper
- 1 small onion
- 3 lb. cooked shrimp
Method
- Combine soup and cheese and cook on simmer until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
- Pour this mixture while hot over gelatine which has been dissolved in cold water.
- Add mayonnaise.
- Grind together celery, cucumber, green pepper and onion.
- Add to mixture with shrimp.
- Pour into mold and let chill.
- Serves 8 to 10.
