Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 medium white onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 lb. clean deveined shrimp
- 1/2 c. green onions, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Method
- On medium heat, place oil and flour in black skillet and stir until brown.
- Add onion, celery and bell pepper.
- Reduce heat. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Add shrimp, parsley, green onions, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add cooked rice and mix well.
- Place lid on pot until ready to serve.
- Serves about 6.
