Ingredients

  • 1- 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1/4 cups Chief Big Butt's All Purpose Rub (See My Recipe Box)
  • 2 leaves Bay Leaves (Optional)
  • 1 pound Peeled And Deveined Shrimp (Tails On Preferably)
  • 1/4 cups White Wine (optional)

Method

  • This is another entertaining favorite of mine.
  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
  • While melting the butter in a sauce pan, add the rub and the bay leaves (optional), cook for just a few minutes to meld the flavors.
  • Once the butter is melted, arrange your shrimp in a single layer in an oven safe dish ( I use a 9x9 for a pound of shrimp) and pour the butter spice mix over the shrimp.
  • If youre adding the white wine, pour this over the shrimp now.
  • Cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • The liquid should just be bubbling in the dish.
  • Serve with my favorite: toasted, crusty bread for dipping in the melted butter.
