Ingredients

  • 2 lbs raw shrimp
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can creamed corn
  • 12 cup oil
  • 12 cup flour
  • 3 cups onions, chop
  • 12 cup bell pepper, chop
  • 1 cup celery, chop
  • 12 cup green onion, chop
  • 12 cup tomatoes, chop
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole corn
  • 1 12 quarts water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • sugar, i use 1 teaspoon of each

Method

  • Brown oil and flour to make roux.
  • add onion, bell pepper,celery,and tomatoe.
  • cook 10 minutes, on medium heat make sure you keep it stirred.
  • add creamed corn, whole corn,salt,pepper,garlic salt and sugar to taste.
  • simmer 30 minutes.
  • add shrimp,and green onions.
  • cook 20 minutes.
