Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 1 lb. prepared shrimp (small, frozen, ready-to-eat type)
  • 1/2 lb. Old English sliced cheese (Kraft)
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 pt. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Break bread into pieces about the size of quarters.
  • Break cheese into bite size pieces.
  • Arrange thawed shrimp, bread and cheese in several layers in greased casserole.
  • Pour melted butter over mixture.
  • Beat eggs; add mustard and salt to eggs.
  • Add milk to egg mixture.
  • Mix and pour over the casserole.
  • Let set for 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator, covered.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 350°, covered.
  • Serves 6.
