Ingredients
- 1 lb. real butter
- 1 c. extra fine sugar
- 5 c. all purpose flour
Method
- Soften butter, mix sugar and flour until it round yellow ball. Line pan with wax paper and pat into pan, prick with fork. Bake till golden brown at 350°, it will brown around the edges, watch, it will burn quickly. Cool on a rack. Cut into squares. Size of pan determines the thickness of the squares.
