Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 onion
- 5 or 6 potatoes
- 2 cans tomato soup
- milk
- 1 c. Minute rice
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Method
- Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
- Season to taste.
- Place in layers sliced raw potatoes about 1-inch thick in bottom of large casserole bowl.
- Combine tomato soup, 1/2 soup can milk, chopped celery, chopped green pepper and uncooked Minute rice.
- Pour half of mixture over potato slices.
- Layer half of hamburger mixture, tomato mixture and remaining hamburger.
- Top with thin layer of potato slices.
- Cover.
- Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Serves 6 to 8 people.
- Just as good the second day.
