Ingredients

  • 1 med size chuck roast (you can use ground beef also)
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil to pan
  • 1 small bag of Green Giant frozen mixed vegtables (carrot, peas and green beans)
  • 1 package of garlic mash potatoes
  • 1 package of bisquick cheddar flavored biscuits
  • Season meat with Lawerys season salt and garlic salt ( to coat meat, before cooking)
  • 1/2 cup of red wine
  • 1 package stew season mix

Method

  • Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to pan
  • Heat fry pan to med high for 5-10 mins
  • Cut chuck roast into bite size pieces.
  • Season with Lawerys season salt and garlic salt.
  • Cook tell all sides are brown.
  • Add 1/2 cup of red wine and 1 1/2 cups of water to pan with meat.
  • add the stew season mix
  • Add frozen mixed veggies to the meat mixture
  • Transfere the meat and sauce into a casserole dish (that can be put into the oven)
  • Next make the instant mash potatoes
  • layer potatoes over meat and veggie mixture
  • put in the oven at 400 for 30mins
  • take out of oven.
  • after the 30 mins Then make bisquick biscuits and add on top of the potaoes layer and finish cooking at 450 for 15 mins (what the biscuit package says)
