Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 5 tomatoes, chopped
  • 34 cup dry white wine
  • 12 bunch fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 ounces pasta shells, cooked, warm
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Method

  • Saute onions and garlic in oil until soft.
  • Add tomatoes, wine and basil.
  • Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms, marjoram, salt and pepper; cook 5 more minutes.
  • Spoon sauce over pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
