Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. candied pineapple
- 3/4 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 sticks butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, flour and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Grease and flour the pan.
- Spread nuts on bottom of pan. Pour batter over nuts and press in.
- Mix chopped fruits together. Sprinkle over batter and press in.
- Bake for 1 hour at 250° in 11 x 15 x 2-inch pan.
- Cut when cool.
