Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 5 carrots, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 to 3 potatoes, cubed
  • dash of garlic powder
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • water to cover
  • 2 to 3 c. your favorite noodles

Method

  • Simmer chicken breasts in water for 2 to 3 hours (also add salt, pepper, garlic and bay leaves).
  • Remove chicken, remove skin, debone and shred into chunks.
  • Add chicken and vegetables to water and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • Add the noodles during the last 15 minutes to allow them to cook until tender.
