Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine egg whites, syrup, sugar and salt in upper part of double boiler.
- Beat with rotary beater until partially mixed. Set pan over rapidly boiling water.
- Cook 7 minutes, beating constantly, with a rotary beater until frosting stand in peaks. Remove pan from hot water.
- Add flavoring.
- Beat into mix well. Makes enough to cover top and sides of 2 round 8 or 9-inch layers.
