Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. cubed spuds
  • several pats butter
  • 1 can diced carrots, drained
  • 1/4 c. rice
  • 1 raw, sliced onion
  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 3 c. tomato soup

Method

  • Brown ground beef in small amount of fat and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drain excess fat.
  • Line bottom of casserole dish with spuds, salt to taste and several pats of butter.
  • Add carrots. Follow with layer of rice and onion.
  • Add peas.
  • For layer six, add ground beef.
