Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef flank steak
- 1/4 c. toasted sesame seed
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. each: ground coriander, ginger and chili powder
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 c. hot cooked rice
Method
- Slice beef thinly across the grain.
- In shallow bowl, mix sesame seed, flour and spices.
- Dip beef strips into broth, then toss in flour mixture.
- Set aside.
- Heat oil in wok or nonstick skillet until hot.
- Add onion and pepper; saute for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms; continue cooking 1 minute longer.
- Add beef.
- Cook, stirring constantly, about 2 to 3 minutes.
