Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Wash and pat dry chicken breasts.
  • In plastic bag, combine bread crumbs, salt, flour, onion and garlic powder.
  • Add chicken, one piece at a time, shake and coat well. Place in hot frying pan with oil.
  • Brown on both sides.
  • When brown, place in baking dish.
  • Cover chicken with onion and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
