Ingredients

  • 1 large fryer, boiled and deboned
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 pkg. stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 or 3 c. chicken broth (depending on size of stuffing mix pkg.)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle in 1/4 of the stuffing mix.
  • Layer chicken and mushrooms.
  • Combine sour cream, chicken soup and 1 cup of broth; mix well and pour over chicken and mushrooms.
  • Sprinkle remaining stuffing mix over chicken.
  • Pour on enough of remaining broth to moisten stuffing mix.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
