- 1 large fryer, boiled and deboned
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 pkg. stuffing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 or 3 c. chicken broth (depending on size of stuffing mix pkg.)
- 8 oz. sour cream
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle in 1/4 of the stuffing mix.
- Layer chicken and mushrooms.
- Combine sour cream, chicken soup and 1 cup of broth; mix well and pour over chicken and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle remaining stuffing mix over chicken.
- Pour on enough of remaining broth to moisten stuffing mix.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
