Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Boil sugar, corn syrup and water until mixture spins threads. Beat egg whites until stiff.
- Pour hot mixture into egg whites, beating constantly with electric mixer, pouring slowly while beating.
- When it begins to stiffen, add vanilla and nuts.
- Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
- Cool.
