Ingredients
- 3 large yellow or zucchini squash
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Cut squash up and put in a colander for 1 hour.
- Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Layer squash and sprinkle with flour and cut a few slices of butter between each layer.
- Also add salt and pepper to taste between each layer.
- After completing each layer, pour milk in, then sprinkle cheese on top and cook at 325° for 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6.
