Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) box manicotti (can use large shells)
  • 2 c. Ricotta cheese
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce

Method

  • Cook manicotti (or shells) and drain.
  • Cool in a single layer. Combine cheeses, parsley, salt and pepper for filling; spoon into manicotti.
  • Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange manicotti in single layer on sauce.
  • (If the large shells are used, put the open side down.) Cover with remaining sauce.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer.
