Ingredients
- 30 lb. sliced raw potatoes
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 gal. water
- 4 cans (50 oz.) mushroom soup or cream of chicken
- 1/2 c. salt
- 2 Tbsp. white pepper
- 4 c. flour
Method
- Arrange potato slices in 4 large metal baking pans.
- Sprinkle each with salt and pepper, each layer.
- Add chopped onion.
- Pour a quart of water over each pan.
- Cover and bake in 425° oven that has been preheated.
- Turn oven to 375°; bake about 30 minutes.
- Mix 1 cup flour with each can of soup; pour over each pan.
- Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until done.
