Ingredients
- 8 to 10 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- chopped onion or onion powder
- salt
- pepper
- 2 c. ham (approximately, leftover works well)
- milk
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- margarine
Method
- Butter a casserole dish.
- Layer half the potatoes, salt and pepper, onion and ham and dot with margarine.
- Repeat layers. Slowly pour in milk just to the top of the potatoes.
- Mix 1 cup milk with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and pour into casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 350° about 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
