Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Place crumbled bacon in pastry shell. Cover with onion. Slightly beat eggs with milk and pepper. Stir in kraut and cheese, saving enough to sprinkle over top.
- Pour over bacon and onion. Top with cheese. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
