Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Place crumbled bacon in pastry shell. Cover with onion. Slightly beat eggs with milk and pepper. Stir in kraut and cheese, saving enough to sprinkle over top.
  • Pour over bacon and onion. Top with cheese. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
