Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 pound cherry or grape tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons fresh basil leaf slivers
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Method
- Place a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- When hot, add the oil, the tomatoes, and the garlic powder.
- Gently shake the pan to combine the ingredients well.
- Cook the tomatoes, stirring often, until they are tender and the skins begin to split (its okay if the skins brown a little), about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the basil over the tomatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
