Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 6 slices white bread
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Method
- Cook bulk sausage over medium heat until done.
- Pour out on paper towel and blot to remove grease.
- Tear 6 slices white bread (stale is fine) into cubes and place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the bread with the cooked sausage. Sprinkle the sausage with 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt.
- Pour this over sausage mixture.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, if desired.
- Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
