Ingredients

  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 lb sausage, it says 500 grams but looks like the jimmy dean tube
  • 1 egg
  • 14 cup tomato sauce
  • 18 cup parsley
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 12 teaspoon oregano
  • 12 teaspoon basil
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 zucchini, grated, small
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 slices bacon, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 18 cup breadcrumbs

Method

  • mix sausage bacon tomato sauce egg bread crumbs herbs
  • veggies together should be moist
  • put in zip lock bag with corner sniped
  • lay out sheet of puff pastry
  • cut in 1/2 length wise
  • put a layer of filling down the middle using ziplock like piping bag
  • fold over both sides til the meet in middle brush with egg to seal
  • brush with milk and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
  • cut into 6 to 8 pieces
  • repeat.
  • bake on parchment paper to brown bottoms
  • bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden
  • serve with tomato sauce.
