Ingredients
- 1 pkg. macaroni
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1 small onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese
Method
- Cook macaroni.
- Fry sausage and onion until light brown, drain. Stir in flour and salt.
- Add milk.
- Cook over low heat until thickened.
- Keep stirring.
- Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Make layers of macaroni and sausage.
- Pour sauce.
- Top with cheese and bake in hot oven for 25 minutes at 400°.
