Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork sausage (Owens)
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 5 c. crumbled (cooked) biscuits
- 5 c. crumbled (cooked) corn bread
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth (4 c.)
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Saute sausage, celery and onion.
- In large bowl, combine sausage mix and remaining ingredients; blend well.
- Stuff into bird and roast according to standard roasting directions.
- Mixture may also be baked in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350° for one hour or until lightly browned.
- Makes about 12 cups or 10 to 12 servings.
