Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 2 lb. raw shrimp, peeled
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
Method
- Melt margarine in heavy skillet.
- Saute vegetables.
- Add raw, peeled shrimp and saute a few minutes longer.
- Stir in flour, salt and chili powder.
- Add milk gradually and cook 5 minutes over low heat.
- Add catsup and parsley.
- Cook, covered, 10 to 15 minutes. Serve over rice with green salad and French bread.
- Serves 4 to 6.
