Ingredients

  • 1 lb. turkey sausage
  • 2 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice, cooked and cooled
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup (low-fat and low-calorie)
  • 1 (3 3/8 oz.) pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 3 stalks chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Cook rice and set aside.
  • Brown sausage and drain.
  • Stir in all other ingredients, except rice, and simmer until veggies are tender.
  • Add rice; mix well.
