- 2 lb. pork sausage
- 4 c. water
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans (undrained)
- 2 (16 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 large bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Brown sausage.
- Drain; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer 1 hour.
- Makes 3 quarts.
