Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 2 c. shredded cheese, divided
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
Method
- Cook sausage in a skillet until brown, stirring to crumble. Drain; set aside.
- Combine rice and 1 1/2 cups cheese.
- Spread mixture into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with sausage.
- Combine eggs and next 4 ingredients; mix well.
- Pour mixture over sausage.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
