Ingredients

  • 2 lb. mild Italian sausage
  • 2 small finely chopped onions
  • 2 lb. bag sauerkraut, drained and chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 8 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Brown sausage and onions; drain.
  • Combine sausage, onions and other ingredients; mix well and chill overnight.
  • Shape into balls; roll in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, then roll in bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
