- 1 c. sausage
- 1/4 c. onion
- 1 lb. sauerkraut
- 2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
Method
- Cook, brown and drain sausage and onion.
- Mix in sauerkraut, 2 tablespoons bread crumbs, cream cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Refrigerate until cool.
- Shape into balls.
- Coat balls in the flour. Mix together eggs, and milk.
- Dip floured balls into mixture.
- Then roll in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry.
