Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • orange slices
  • parsley

Method

  • Dredge chicken in flour and brown in oil.
  • Transfer to greased shallow baking dish.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine next 6 ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over chicken.
  • Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes until tender.
  • Garnish with orange slices and parsley.
  • Serves 6.
