Ingredients

  • 4 salmon steaks (about 1 1/2 lb.)
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Place salmon steaks in shallow pan.
  • Combine oil, lemon juice, soy, dry mustard, ginger and garlic powder; pour over steaks.
  • Let stand at room temperature 1 hour, turning once.
  • Drain, reserving marinade.
  • Place steaks on broiler pan.
  • Broil 3-inches from heat for 5 minutes; turn and brush again.
  • Broil 5 minutes more.
  • Makes 4 servings.
