Ingredients

  • 1 shortcrust pastry sht ready-rolled
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion finely diced
  • 210 grams salmon drained and flaked
  • 2 eggs lrgs
  • 1 sauce mix pkt MAGGI Parsley
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  • Line a 20cm flan tin with the pastry and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat the butter in a small saucepan.
  • Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook, then spread the onion over the pastry.
  • Top with the salmon.
  • Combine the eggs, sauce mix and milk in a bowl and whisk until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture over the salmon.
  • Bake in a preheated oven, 200 C, for 30-35 minutes or until the flan is golden brown and firm.
