Ingredients
- 1 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. safflower oil
- 2 to 2 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Method
- In a medium bowl, place flour.
- Add oil.
- Stir with a fork until thoroughly mixed.
- Add 2 tablespoons water.
- Stir until dough holds together, additional water only if needed.
- Press firmly into a ball.
- Sufficient pastry for 6 turnovers or a 9-inch pie shell.
