Ingredients

  • 1 quart eggnog (commercial)
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened (not ice milk)
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee crystals
  • 12 teaspoon rum flavoring
  • whipped cream
  • ground nutmeg

Method

  • In a small punch bowl, combine eggnog, ice cream, coffee and rum flavoring.
  • Top with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg.
  • If you want to use regular rum instead of extract, here's the conversion.
  • 1 tsp rum extract = 3 tbsp rum/to taste The ratio of light rum will be closer to 4 tbsp while dark rum requires less, closer to 2 tablespoons.
